Absolutely Amazing!
My boyfriend and I love concerts and attend as many as we possibly can. So far in 2019, we have been to 9 and have tickets to 2 more. That being said, we are in total agreement that the Dermot Kennedy concert at the HOB in Cleveland was the best show we've seen! When we heard Dermot was coming, we bought our tickets as soon as they went on sale. It was a good thing, as the concert sold out.
Dermot is, simply put, REAL. In concert, his voice sounded just as good as it does on his albums. His voice gives me goosebumps and his sincerity and the emotion in his music shone in his live performance. The entire crowd knew the words and sang along to many of the songs, which just added to the experience. Perhaps my favorite moment of the evening was when the crowd was going crazy and Dermot truly seemed flattered. He kept grinning as if surprised by the response. His genuine demeanor and heartfelt performance truly made it "An Evening I Will Not Forget" :)
